We make our paint in small batches from carefully selected pigments. We even fill our tubes by hand.
Our mission: to make the best oil paint possible and to both educate and inspire painters about the possibilities and true pleasure of quality paint.
Fiercely independent, we have remained one of the only owner operated paint companies in existence, passionately still following 19th century methods of handcrafting and selling our own colors directly to painters.

JUNE SALE of warmer greens
Switching to a monthly format, our colors sales will now expand from 6 to 12 color events, end sooner, but provide more focus on select colors.
Greens that tend to be warm or even mix like a yellow are on sale in June, with great pricing on both 175ml large tubes and the 40ml size.
Vasari Classic Artists’ Oil Colors is going green! To save on resources and energy, we will no longer mail out our sale flyers.
